History
Built at sometime around 1850, the now derelict Château JM sits in the middle of a host of other buildings which form part of a medial complex. The building appears to have been disused on a regular basis for quite sometime with evidence of decay setting in on some of the walls and ceilings. It would appear that there are plans to renovate the building and integrate it into the other currently occupied hospital buildings. Surprisingly a fair bit of contents remained inside and the stunning entrance hall left us all god smacked!
Our Visit
Visited with Scott Darby of Darbians Photography and AndyK of Behind Closed Doors I really enjoyed this spot which was the final spot on the Grand Designs tour and the one which solidified the tour name! Enjoy the photos!
