The Butchers House

The abandoned Butchers House in Belgium turned out to be one of the more interesting residential explores that I have done to date. I suppose not an uncommon occurrence, this house also functioned as a butchers shop with the customer-facing area being located next to the main road and the residential areas to the side and rear of the building. Both the shop itself and the house were really well preserved and full of belongings which helped paint a picture of what this place would have been like before it was left. Please be warned there may be a couple of NSFW photos below on account of the large Adult Film and magazine collection this person has in their attic! Some of the favourite parts of this one for me were the living room with the piano and the adjoining office which were both really well lit when we visited and of course the hooks and knives left in the shop area.
