The Chocolate Works The Titanic Staircase

Urbex: Terry’s Chocolate, York, North Yorkshire – February 2014 (Revisit)

Briefly The abandoned Chocolate Works was the confectionery factory of Terry’s of York, England. Opened in 1926, it closed in 2005 with the loss of 300 jobs, with production moved to other Kraft Foods sites in mainland Europe.

Pool Park Hospital The Staircase

Urbex: Pool Park Hospital / Asylum, Wales – January 2014

Forming part of a 16th Century estate the Pool Park Hospital was part of the North Wales Hospital group, purchased and opening in 1937 it continued to operate until 1991 when it was the first to close before the larger Main Denbigh Hospital which finally closed its doors in 1995.
