Manicomio di C is another abandoned Italian Madhouse or Asylum that is pretty large inside and boasts some impressive architectural features as well as a large grand chapel which is still used to this day and has been sectioned off from where it used to be joined to the asylum building. Established to cater for Insane patients the building had clearly seen several extensions and additions over the years with a much more modern wing extending out to one side mainly composed of corridors flanked with bedrooms and a few treatment areas. The building appeared to have suffered significantly from thieves and vandals but still provided for a few good shots 🙂 Visited with Matt, Spider Monkey and Andy de Kay of Behind Closed Doors, enjoy the photos:
