Another trip to the The Royal Hospital Haslar aka Serenity Hospital, an abandoned military hospital located in Gosport along the south coast of England. This time accompanied by Lowri, who joined me on the first trip back in May, Perjury Saint who had also been on the 2nd trip in June and Sonyes, Pete NinjaKitten and Stussy who got to see this for the first time! This empty Hospital never fails to impress, with the huge footprint of the main buildings full of parallel corridors and multiple floors to get lost in we were not short of things to photograph. Entry was as smooth as ever then we worked our way towards the epic entrance hall and the main staircase.
The highlights at this place remained the same for me, primarily the entrance hall with its original arched ceilings, the ward full of really comfy hospital beds which make for a nice rest area to put your feet up after a long day exploring and the endless amount of presumably still useful yet discarded medical machinery such as the multiple CT scanners and MRI machines! This place will always be a favourite of mine. Enjoy the photos and there’s a link the all the old reports at the bottom of the post.
