Château Gramophone was one of 3 large Villas built in this small town in Belgium. This one was occupied until 2008 and was left derelict full of the contents and memories of the previous owner. Weeks after these photos were taken we were informed that the Villa had been cleared of the contents and a lot of the features and fittings have been removed and sold on. The house itself will also soon be up for sale. I’m glad we managed to visit this one before it was gone.
This particular explore was the first stop on what turned out to be an epic European tour, later known as the 3 Men and a little Lady tour :). Accompanied by Baron Scotland, Dystopia and Lowri we made it to the location to meet up with Luc de Cock before heading inside. A massive thank you to Luc for meeting up with us! I understand he did a night shift… came exploring with us then went back to work! You Legend! Definitely one of my favourite locations from the trip the place was brimming with amazing old belongings which made for some great photos! I’m surprised there are as many shots as this considering I was nursing the hangover from hell after the boat trip!
Others from the European Tour:
Tapioca Farm House November 2013
Prison H15 France November 2013
Schola CLXXV Monastery Belgium November 2013

Saludos!!!
Gracias Maite,

Woah!! This place looks sooo great. Hope that nobody will spread its location too loud!!
I agree it was pretty special. I know the owner has already started to remove some of the items though… Im not sure how long it will remain as it was in the photos.
All the best

What brilliant photo,s looking a bit damp in there, cold and stark in that bathroom, but I bet it was warm and inviting when it was occupied?
Hi David thanks for the comment! A friend of mine was chatting to the previous owners grandson I believe who now is responsible for the building and he apparently had very fond memories of the place!
Cheers
