The abandoned Château Stromae is yet another architecturally stunning castle in France which sits abandoned in a deteriorating state. As you can see from the exterior photos this building has been added to over the years and has quite a history to it as well…
Another interesting disused Chateau in France, this building from what I understand is earmarked for restoration despite being in a pretty bad condition structurally.
An old abandoned Military Barracks somewhere in France. I believe the place is earmarked to be converted to housing, or at least the main building. Sadly this building was not accessible during our visit, however, I expect by the looks of the rest of the places it’s probably well stripped!
The abandoned Château Martin du Pecheur. We stopped off at this place during our trip having seen a few older reports, disappointing the few bits of contents that did remain were now gone and the Château was pretty much empty.
The ET Church in France, I think quite a few people were under the impression that this place was abandoned but after researching the place a little it became obvious the place was not empty…

This lovely Château was empty and abandoned when I visited back in September 2005, when doing a little more research on the place for this article I found that new owners had purchased an occupied the Castle and will be working to renovate the place.
The abandoned Château de la Musique, another gorgeous, empty castle in France! Clearly occupied by an artistic and musical person the house had 3 pianos and all sorts of recording equipment and old radios, sculptures and paintings and more closer to the heard lots of photography equipment, tins of old devloping chemicals and blank photography paper…
A collection of abandoned aircraft parked up at an old airfield in France. I always enjoy abandoned planes but I still haven’t had much luck visiting a decent sized collection and this handful were not going to alter that fact :). the 3 planes which were there were however, a nice varied set with each having their own individual features…
Sitting relatively untouched windows all intact with no boards on them surrounded by woodland and having so much character to it this one was an instant favourite before we even got inside…
