Built in the 1920’s this abandoned house it quite sizeable and has some nice grounds but one of the more unusual features are a collection of around 7 large crosses which are about 2m in hight and are placed scattered around the house within the gardens.
This abandoned prison in France named H15 closed at some point in 2010 when another detention centre which was closer to modern american maximum security prisons was built. This old prison which is described as dilapidated before its closure was set for demolition before the site was occupied by travellers
There is very little history to be found on this abandoned Château codenamed Château Du Cavalier by other explorers. All I could seem to find out is that the property had been most recently purchased by a Chinese investor who apparently has intentions to refurbish the place back into a home or potentially a hotel.
There is very little information on the Abandoned Château de Singes which I could find on the internet. I’ve read that the House was built in the 17th Century and that the last owners vacated in around 1976. Singes is one of those buildings that just has some wow factor about it both internally and externally.
What little information I can dig up on this place suggests that this now abandoned Sanatorium was a former cancer hospital built somewhere around the early 1900 and closing in approximately 2000.
Part 2 of my first revisit to the abandoned Prison H15 in France. Highlights of this trip were definitely covering the parts I missed on the first visit, the rooftops, the well hidden green wing and getting up the guard tower for the cool external shot below 🙂 enjoy the rest of the photos 🙂
An abandoned Prison in France named H15 which has all the characteristics of a set out of the walking dead series! Lots of peeling paint and decay. Bonus rooftop access on this visit!
The famous Horror Labs. They were top of my list of places to see for well over a year or so now and it was my most anticipated location of this trip! Along with the regulars Dystopia, Baron Scotland and Lowri, we were joined by Yann Shee for this little adventure. Once inside we went straight to see the jackpot at this place deep inside the dark basement the shelves full of preserved dead animal body parts…
Not a lot to say on this one, a small abandoned clothing factory, well I say small the place was actually quite big! Not a lot of stuff left behind some fabrics and a few old Bobbins. Nice little relaxed mooch 🙂 Enjoy the few photos I got: Others from the European Tour: Château Gramophone…
I’m not clear on when the Prison itself was built but it closed in 2011 where it has since been left abandoned. Decay really taking its toll here potentially sped up by the large amount of attention it has received from metal thieves…
