The Ark Synagogue

Urbex: Greenbank Synagogue aka The Ark, Liverpool, United Kingdom – February 2014 Part 2 of 2

Part 2 of this visit to the abandoned Ark Synagogue in Liverpool. Plenty to see at this place and lots of nice light so I ended up with more photos than expected. I hope you enjoy the rest of the report 🙂

The Ark Synagogue

Urbex: Greenbank Synagogue aka The Ark, Liverpool, United Kingdom – February 2014 Part 1 of 2

An abandoned grade 2 listed Greenbank Synagogue in Liverpool which was built in 1936/1937 and then closed in 2008 when it was given grade 2 listed status. The building is falling into a state of disrepair but was still full of all sorts of contents to photograph…

Fire Damaged Church

Urbex: Fire Damaged Church, United Kingdom – October 2013

I must apologise again for the lack of detail and history on the last report and this one! I hadn’t planned on these visit and so have done very little research into the places! This was a lovely little church which had been very heavily fire damaged but still had some great features to photograph.…

Pigeon Church

Urbex: Pigeon Church, Scotland – June 2013

Externally the building looks more like a town hall or courtroom building rather than a church and the bell towers appears to have been a later addition perhaps the building may have had a previous function in its history. Unsure how long this one had been abandoned but its certainly becoming worse for wear!
