Briefly, the Asylum was built in 1989, opened in 1896 and then closed in 1996 after functioning as an Asylum, a Wartime supply Hospital and a General Hospital focusing on geriatric care under the NHS.<\/p>\n<h2><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Our Visit<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>My second trip to Gartloch Asylum, this place is all about the Ballroom and the externals of the admin building&#8230; not a lot else to see here these days&#8230; My second time here I was hung over much like the first&#8230; definitely something about Scotland and getting drunk \ud83d\ude00 Visited with Baron Scotland and Lowri!
