Pitchfork Abbey aka The Sweat Shop Main Chapel<\/p><\/div>\n

Pitchfork Abbey aka The Sweat Shop is an abandoned convent somewhere in the United Kingdom. After receiving a tip off from a good friend that this place was once again open we made it priority number one to visit. After making our way in very early and passing time in the main chapel while the sun started to give us enough light to work with, we began to shoot for what was probably less than an hour before we were interrupted… The caretaker wielding a pitchfork for self protection surprised a couple of us in the main chapel and promptly escorted us out as we explained what we were doing there and that we had not caused any damage. Gutted we did not get more time in this place as there was so much more to see! the photos below cover only a small fraction of this place which we had a brief mooch around before sunrise! Hopefully one for another day but sadly currently resealed.<\/p>\n

Visited on this occasion with Phiberto, Pete, Sonyes and Andyk, first day out with the new Canon 6d and 16-35mm Lens… pretty happy with the results \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
