History<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n

The abandoned Court House located in West Ham, London, was built in 1884 and was designed by Lewis Angell. Built of Yellow brick and Portland stone the building is 3 storeys in parts with smaller extension buildings at the rear which housed the cells and the morgue was in a detached outbuilding.<\/p>\n

After being empty for some time the building was subject to a fire in 2014 which left the majority of the internal fabric of the building in extremely poor condition, emergency scaffolding was erected to cover the internals but the building is clearly suffering severely from decay.<\/p>\n

Our Visit<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n

Visited with Andy Kay and Damien, whilst down in London, we decided to pop our heads in and see what was left of the place after the fire, not much but still a couple of photo opportunities. The cells were kinda cool with nice lighting and the morgue was an unexpected bonus… Enjoy the photos:<\/p>\n
