St. Joseph Orphanage – Staircase<\/p><\/div>\n

The abandoned\u00a0St. Joseph Orphanage in Italy is a relatively large orphanage given the size of the small town it resides in and featured\u00a0ample rooms to accommodate children as well as a small chapel on the first floor which had a lovely colour cast from the tinted windows. The main feature of this building was the large marble staircase located in the main entrance hall within the centre of the building. \u00a0The rest of the building was pretty much stripped back to bare blockwork and there was a large extension to the rear which appeared to be unfinished prior to the site becoming derelict.<\/p>\n

Visited with Spider Monkey, Andy de Kay of Behind Closed Doors<\/a> and Matt, really enjoyed shooting the staircase and the chapel was an unexpected bonus \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
