An Abandoned Bulgarian Theatre<\/p><\/div>\n

The only other decent location we had on our list in Bulgaria… this nice little decaying theatre which sits abandoned in a small town way out in the sticks. From what I understand the theatre was part of the soviet regime\u00a0and used to show films from the state but after the fall of the iron curtain the Theatre which also acted as a cinema closed and has since fallen into disrepair. There were still seat in the lower part of the auditorium and the broken remains of an old grand piano on the stage, which really gave the place some character and the curved balconies on the upper level had a nice art deco feel to them. All in all, I was pretty impressed with this place and it was a nice little spot to finish off this trip.
